Today, much like this summer, is very rainy. I would love nothing more than to get out and take some pictures but it looks like I am rather stuck in the house. On a future nice day, I plan on bumming around town and taking pictures of the locals. Should be a lot of fun and interesting at the same time.

Living in a small country town with a prestigious college means there is always lots going on and lots of interesting people beating their feet. If you are interested at all, keep posted for some more photos in the future.

Over the course of the last two weeks I have been waiting for a nice day to arrive...yesterday that time came and I have been out shooting.

Sadly yesterdays shoot was just okay. I forgot to reset my focus points on my camera so many of my shots came out blurry in the primary areas. Opps.

Today was much better as I solved my previous problems and captured some great shots.

It is a pleasure living in such a beautiful area. Amazing area. Wondeful people.

Rain Rain, oh how I love the....but, I would love to see some sun light!

Here in the mountains of NC it has been one of the rainiest summers I can remember. On many occasions I have wanted...no, needed to get out and snap some shots but the weather is not willing to budge.

Maybe this weekend will prove to be pleasant enough to get out and try my new lens out. Even though I took some nice sample shots around the house yesterday, I have a hunger to get out and explore the mountains; taking pictures along the way.

Just yesterday afternoon it was raining and I went up on the Parkway for a nice run and after that was said and done, I was leaving the overlook where I parked my truck and resting on the wooden guardrail was a very handsome and proud hawk. Such a magnificent bird. If only it wasn't pouring the rain (Heavy rain from a server thunderstorm) I could have captured a beautiful shot. Even though the chance of taking the picture in the rain was zip, it was inspirational being so close to one of gods amazing creatures.

Anyways, I will end the rambling and wish everyone a lovely weekend. Hope the weather in your areas are picture perfect!

Today has certainly been a wonderful day. I have worked out side, messed around in the house and have been blessed with a bit of time to add to my gallery. I would love to hear what you all think.
