Thank you very much. I really appreciate it. Kind of funny, when I was out hiking around, taking this shot, I was hiding behind another tree trying to get some shelter from the wind and snow! Freezing cold. These photos turned out much better than I thought they would.
beautiful! everything blends together so nicely. its got an... almost fantasy kind of look to it, like im waiting for some kind of mythical creature, such as a unicorn or something of that nature, to materialize and just awe me. i also like how the edges of the picture turn black, gives it more depth somehow and really rivets you attention to the central area. nicely done!
Thank you so much. This was one intense winter storm. It only dropped about 6 inches of snow but the winds were intense. Where I took this photo was a small mountain top, roughly 3,400 feet. The winds were roughly 70 mph. The tallest mountain in our area recorded the highest wind speeds ever! 116mph!
